The Letter House is the cheaper of the two — From $8/mo against $11/mo, roughly 27% less on a monthly basis. Whether that gap means anything depends on what turns up: the dearer club is not automatically sending more, and on a gift the up-front total matters more than the monthly figure.

The Letter House addresses the post to the child by name; Rumble Rigs does not. That sounds minor and it is the detail people mention most often — the envelope being visibly theirs is most of the appeal for a younger child.

Every envelope has a hand-illustrated trading card with battle stats, a letter written from the rig's own perspective, a screen-free activity, an 11×17 blueprint poster with a playmat on the reverse, a die-cut sticker and a bonus paper activity. Ships on the 1st.

The Letter House

Three different mail clubs from one maker, each written in two versions so the same envelope suits a toddler or an eight-year-old. Pick Me Up Post is a mini newspaper for children — stories, games, fun facts and small surprises. Collage Mail Club sends a packed envelope of collage papers, cut-outs, textures and stickers with no instructions at all, which is the point. Mindful Mail Club is a themed letter with hands-on activities and extras built around connection and calm. Everything is assembled, decorated and stamped by hand, and mails on the 5th.

Which one to pick

We are not going to pretend there is a winner here — they are close enough to be on the same shortlist, which is why this page exists. What we would say is that the choice usually turns on the household rather than the club: how much adult time there is, whether the child reads independently yet, and whether you want post that asks something of them or post that simply arrives.
