The Kids Mail Clubs badge

If your club is listed here, this badge is yours. It tells the people on your own site that we checked your price at the source, and every club that carries it brings more parents to the directory — which is how parents find you.

Why you might want it

It answers the question parents are already asking. People are wary of subscription pricing, and with good reason — hidden postage, a headline figure that is not the figure, a renewal nobody mentioned. A small mark saying someone independent checked your price settles that before a parent has to go looking.

It points at a page that sells for you. The badge links to your listing, where your price, what arrives, your age range and your shipping are all set out plainly. That is a second page doing a job on your behalf, and parents comparing three clubs tend to land on it.

It brings parents back to the directory, and the directory sends them on to you. Every club that carries the badge puts us in front of people who have not found us yet, and every listing here links straight out to the club’s own site. The more of you who display it, the more of that there is to go round.

It means the same thing everywhere it appears. Nobody pays to be in this directory and nobody pays to rank higher in it, so the badge is not a sponsorship and cannot be bought. That is what makes it worth anything on your site.

Where to put it

Near your price or on your checkout page is where it does the most work, for the reason above. The footer is the other common answer, and it shows up on every page that way. An about or press page works too.

• Shopify — Online Store → Themes → Customize → pick the section → Add block → Custom HTML → paste → Save.
• WordPress — Appearance → Editor (or Widgets) → add a Custom HTML block → paste → Update.
• Squarespace — edit the page or footer → Add block → Code → paste → Save.
• Wix — Add → Embed & Social → Embed HTML → paste → drag it where you want it.
• Anything else — paste it wherever that page's HTML lives.
