Where they differ

Both are letters, activities and postcards clubs. The Little Post also covers stickers; Milo's Post Club stays narrower.

On price there is effectively nothing in it — €12/mo against $14/mo, which works out within a dollar a month of each other. Price is not the deciding factor here.

The age ranges differ too: Milo's Post Club is pitched at ages 4–9, The Little Post at ages 4+. Match the reading level rather than the birthday — a child who cannot yet read the letter alone needs an adult in the loop either way.

Milo's Post Club addresses the post to the child by name; The Little Post does not. That sounds minor and it is the detail people mention most often — the envelope being visibly theirs is most of the appeal for a younger child.

The Little Post expects a reply — there is something to write back to. Milo's Post Club is one-way. A write-back club is the better one if an adult will actually sit down and help; if not, it turns into a pile of unanswered post.

Milo's Post Club

An illustrated letter from Milo each month, prepared and posted by the 4th. Alongside the letter comes a zine of creative activities, a collectible photo card to keep, and small surprises. A European club — the price is in euros and it ships worldwide.

The Little Post

Two printed 5x7 postcards a month with the US postage already on them, sent so the child has something to send rather than only something to open. With them come a joke card, a mad libs story, a prompt suggesting who to write to and why, a letter and a small extra tied to the month's theme. Packages print and mail on the 1st; sign up by the 28th to catch the next one.

Which one to pick

We are not going to pretend there is a winner here — they are close enough to be on the same shortlist, which is why this page exists. What we would say is that the choice usually turns on the household rather than the club: how much adult time there is, whether the child reads independently yet, and whether you want post that asks something of them or post that simply arrives.
